元気な町 vs. cover

My introduction this time is one based on Koji Tamaki's solo work: 元気な町 and covered by Hong Kong singer Kevin Cheng (Zheng Jia Ying). He was popular in the early and mid 1990s, with the prop-up of then Polygram that planned to foster another nice-looking teenager idol with fairly good talent in singing. Yet his career sagged later and remained unknown until several years ago when he staged a comeback with a concentration on TV series productions.
