Beginning of a Dream

This is a site devoted to my most favorite Japanese artist/group: Anzen Chitai and its leading figure Koji Tamaki.

It's a long-planned project as I began to be hooked on their music since my high school days. However, throughout the past years, I haven't felt a moment when I can say I'm fully ready for such a site. What I did was to try every means collecting their records and information. From my experience, I know, at least in China, quite a big number of people deeply love their music, including Koji Tamaki's solo works, and that is especially true for those who have grown along with J-Pop that had much impact or influence on music industry in Hong Kong and Taiwan in the 1980s. During the years following their musical pursuits, I now and then feel sort of responsibility to do something for them. A kind of feeling that you owe somebody something when you are in love with him or her. And that's the main motive behind all my resolution, although I can hardly label myself as a hard-core fan.

Meanwhile, I happened to be asked to create a blog site as a class final project this quarter. That has become an important push for me to get to action.

So that's what you see right now here. The blog's named as "Sequel to a Dream", which in Japanese means "夢のつづき(Yume no Tsuzuki)" and "夢的延續" in Chinese. This is a song that appears in Anzen Chitai's fourth album and has become an all-time favorite for many of their fans, including me.

I will keep working on this site, and try to put more related things on it and share with you. And I guess occasionally I need to post stuff in Chinese as after all it's my native language, and you will find quite a lot stuff available out there in just Chinese.

So please wish me good luck with this project. Go, Leon!~
